Our Founder moved to beautiful Costa Rica from the U.S. in 2009 and during a search to purchase fine wicker furniture for the balcony of his home he found a group of artisans that create the most beautiful wicker (mimbre) masterpieces he had ever seen. Hence he immediately fell in love with their work and decided to help them to foster an expansion by showcasing their incredible talents.
Our artisans have over 40 years of combined experience, all the while fostering others within to learn trade of weaving fine quality Wicker (mimbre) Furniture with the finest finishes, highest quality wicker (mimbre), materials and fabrics that meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.
In order to meet the demand we have recently opened a furniture store that showcases our artisans’ creations. Our furniture store is in the heart of Alajuela Centro only 10 minutes from the SJO airport.
